its normal in nigerian culture for couples or families to be matching wearing the exact same patterns. its very very common lol. If u did it in Nigeria no one would think anything of it lol. But in America i would feel a bit

more self consious. but id still do it lol since its my culture lol.

I've seen it in person but did not realize it was a cultural thing.

Hey it's all about experiencing new culture. Go for it right?

I'm excited for your NVC calls later this week.

I'm really confused. The article says Trump will resume issuing visa to all countries over next 90 days. Does this mean fiance visas in all countries will be delayed for 3months? Or just the 7 countries?

This is what Trump posted on FB:

Statement Regarding Recent Executive Order Concerning Extreme Vetting

“America is a proud nation of immigrants and we will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression, but we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border. America has always been the land of the free and home of the brave.

We will keep it free and keep it safe, as the media knows, but refuses to say. My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months. The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror. To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting.

This is not about religion - this is about terror and keeping our country safe. There are over 40 different countries worldwide that are majority Muslim that are not affected by this order. We will again be issuing visas to all countries once we are sure we have reviewed and implemented the most secure policies over the next 90 days.

I have tremendous feeling for the people involved in this horrific humanitarian crisis in Syria. My first priority will always be to protect and serve our country, but as President I will find ways to help all those who are suffering.”

I guess that doesn't really help or change anything because the date listed for what they're working on is still listed as August 16, 2016 which we know to be very incorrect.  The article states:

"...processing times are generally out of date by the time they are published. This is because OPQ takes time to receive and aggregate data from the various offices, calculate processing times, and publish them. Months can pass between the first day of the performance month and publication.  Currently, the processing times were last updated December 29, 2016 based on data as of October 31, 2016."

We're all still very much in the dark and the work some people are doing here for us will be a much better indicator of what's going on than the USCIS website will be.

Everyone ready for another week of fingers-crossed, what-will-geo-post-tonight? :)

It's just a free uscis case tracker, it was the first one in the list to download in my App Store. Literally only works for checking your case status, it's the uscis website in app form. :)

Thank you. Just downloaded
