Bottom for your timeline (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=253072)

That said, please update your timeline. Your service center is CSC, not Texas. Texas is just a lockbox for K-1s. Your case was not transferred. That should help get your estimate.

Not being too political here, but that is a perfect embodiment of the system of checks and balances. Something that is, unfortunately, unimaginable in my own, and many many other countries around the world. That's what makes America great, and one of the reasons why I love this country so much (aside that the best man in the world, my fiance, lives there), no one gets to abuse the power, even the highest level officials.

Hi Chellyandaaron, the ban has been lifted by a Federal Judge for now:

A federal judge in Brooklyn, New York issued an emergency stay Saturday night that temporarily blocks the U.S. government from sending people out of the country after they have landed at a U.S. airport with valid visas.

The order barred U.S. border agents from removing anyone who arrived in the U.S. with a valid visa from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. It also covered anyone with an approved refugee application. The Department of Homeland Security said that more than 170 people were denied entry to the U.S. as of Saturday night, according to Reuters.

This was very welcome news to wake up to this this morning.  What happened yesterday was scary for all sorts of reasons - and for the implications it might have for some people here - or for all of us if immigration law can be wiped away with the stroke of a pen - even after getting residency.  I guess I'm feeling a little vulnerable at the moment and more concerned for those who are further up the list than me in terms of being 'unwelcome' immigrants.

Just hoping that the sense of federal judges prevails and that every one of our cases is handled smoothly - and that there are no unpleasant 'surprises' ahead. Keeping a close eye on immigration changes - and watching for any potential changes to the AOS as well.  I'm sure our blood pressure doesn't need those additional worries on top of the joy of waiting for our NOA2s.

and so to a sunny Sunday here... :)

the time line estimate uses info everyone here adds to their timeline to make those estimates,it changes often.  medical goes smoothly as long as you have all needed documents   the interview is basically the same way. be sure to brush up on the 70 popular questions they ask at the interview. now before you get scared they will only ask 3-5 questions out of that list :-)  i will suggest that on the first day of medical that you go to st lukes very early to get in line. My fiance went over at 245am and still was 11th in line. she said there was about 200+ people there that morning for exams.

When she went for her medical exam, she was very lucky in that she did not have to return on the second day. She got the full exam and her vaccinations all in 1 Day. We still do not know how or why they did that.

I can easily understand,I was not patient during that portion of the process, now I have patience to wait for the visa issuance and now she is feeling impatient about it LOL

here is a link to those questions to practice on https://rapidvisa.com/fiance-visa-interview/

you will spend more time going from one window to the next in the embassy giving different documents to the clerks then you will spend talking to the interviewer. Just be sure to have your documents organized and it will go smoothly for you
