It's just a free uscis case tracker, it was the first one in the list to download in my App Store. Literally only works for checking your case status, it's the uscis website in app form.

Today was back day, the gym has been a good stress reliever!!!

For sure!! I kept telling myself "a watched pot never boils." It's nearly impossible to not think or focus on it, but it's a waiting game, so might as well redirect your stress and energy into something else, it will help release anxiety! It will come soon

Yes check both places. No change on case on app, nor any email. Can their site be delayed in updating, or wonder if it was a mistake. Trying not to get my hopes  up right now. Just going to have to wait some more to see what happens I guess

I thought i would share this info about our interview we had last week.  When she went through the interview, they only asked for a few documents from her. Her birth certificate,passport,some photos of us together and the death certificate of her late husband and i believe 2 other documents.

When she gave them the death certificate,they said that it had to be certified. she tried to explain that it was because it was stamped on the back by the office that issued it. the embassy officer said that it had to be both stamped and certified by that office.

she had to go to the NSO office and order a new certificate that was stamped and certified. the certificate is 150 pesos and then to expedite it to the embassy is 210 pesos. Hopefully passing this on may save someone else a few extra days to obtain this document to satisfy the embassy in the philippines. they said they would issue a visa after they received that document. they should have it by Tuesday next week

Hello everyone !!

i have been waiting since September ... File was sent on 17/09/16 , Noa 1 29 Sep , RFE 01/11/16. We just missed one signature we sent it back immediately but they only received it on 03/12/2016. 

I called last week and they said it should be approved by 02 nod Feb! I lost hope !

Oh sory to hear that it took additional time for you. It would've been approved on 1st Nov if it wasnt for the missed signature but we all make mistakes. All petitioners must be careful. 

Any idea why they receieved it so late? Almost a month is way too long unless its snail mail.

Can anyone here please tell me the contents of the physical NOA2 that arrives by mail?  What are the "instructions" in the NOA2 that they refer to when you see the approval on-line?

Thanks a lot!

NoA2 will have the approval date and the validity of this approval which is 4 months from that date. 

You should call the NVC in 8 days-2weeks once you get the NoA2 to know when your file leaves for the country's embassy so you get get your medical and appointments done in time.

NoA2 comes in same format as NoA1. Except that its the most awaited

Please add inputs to what i said guys. Thanks.

Its snail mail so depends on your address. Usually within 10 days of email.
