I know im a teacher but plllease disregard my typos and incorrect spelling.... i know how to spell and write correctly of course they make u pass a series of tests to teach but on social media i never reread anything and i type like a crazy person without thought...and some times i go back and reread like omg what did i just type..for example how i spelled reject! Never capitalizing ..any who... i was thinking of calling them on jan 30th. But i finally got a text message this morning that my case had been approved... so maybe theres a number. Anyways dont wanna stress myself calling..so i may just wait til monday.

Monday would be a perfect time to start calling and that is exactly what I would start doing. You may very well have a week or more of calling after that but you never know and if you are in any kind of  a hurry for him to get the visa then might as well call. Just have your  WAC number and his name and DOB I believe in front of you when you call.

I don't think we have anyone here on VJ who will be wacking our hands with rulers for misspelling words LOL

Im in the financial market and I'm bad at math. haha. You can be sure my check book is balanced to the penny though.

Seems to me that one day of petitions takes more than a week to process. So I am about 15 weeks away or so. Any thought on my estimate?

Yes 1 days of petitions takes more than a week WAY more.

For example cases received on 10/31 it has been 12 weeks and they are still have more unapproved case than approved cases for that date.

I wish it did, Jim. Here in Moscow for vaccination at MOM (the only place that authorized to conduct medical exam for immigration) you have to pay extra. Vaccination is mandatory in Russia, and I got almost everything that was required as a child, but aged out of some vaccination :) Time to get another couple shots.

wow good to know. I was under the impression that all countries provided the shots as part of the medical fee whether you need them or not.

Good luck there

Hey.  I’ve been lurking for a month now, but this is my first post.

As it stands, my application has been on NOA1 for 68 days now – personally, I think that timeframe is outrageous.  I know there are people who have waited even longer, and I would be even more outraged if I were them.  I work for the government along with a lot of my friends, so I know first-hand how government workers can be.

I ended up writing a letter to my local congresswoman asking for help.  Nothing may come of it, but I’ve gotten pretty tired of waiting for my application to overcome even the first hurdle.

Welcome!

I wish you luck, but after only 68 days, there's nothing a congressional inquiry can do. You're still well within normal processing times. After 5-6 months, then they might be able to provide more information.

I know how hard it is, but it's just a waiting game. People were fortunate to have sub-60 day NOA2s last year...it was 120+ days not long before that.

I've been following this board for the past month, but this is my first post.  My application was received on 11-03, and I it was Approved on January 24.  I felt like I won the lottery.  Now I'm waiting to receive my NOA2 in the mail, and for the NVC to receive my case.  The wait is agonizing, and I hope everyone gets their approval soon.  Good Luck!

Where in the Philippines is your fiancee from?

Mine is from Negros.

Next up NVC.

With how USCIS is working, it is very hard to predict! ?

Yes, it seems like November 15, will be worked on by end of May or June, well, gives me a plenty time to look for a wheelchair before she gets here.

Hope for the best but prepare the worst!

Anyway here is a graph that reflects 26 RFE's today alone for 10/31 receipt date.

They are slowly making progress. Once these are cleared out it should take care of 98% of the October cases then on to 11/1 and beyond.

They seem to concentrate on a few specific days with random cases getting worked as well.

Ok image won't load oh well.
