I had my ex-wife's k-1 processed back in 2004 and I've never heard of this happening. Do you have a criminal record and or is your fiancee already here in America.

These are the only two reasons why I can possibly think that your case would be transferring from the California service Center .

No to both. Neither my fiance nor I have any criminal records--not here or in any other country and no, he is not here.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see....which is always frustrating...

Hello welcome to the thread . Nothing further is needed for I 129F regarding child of beneficiary . They just need to list the child's name data birth other parents name etc. as requested on form . The birth certificate will be needed prior to the interview however .child's visa will be considered k-2 and does not require a separate I 129f

Good morning,

There were about 2 approvals on VJ timelines for NOA 2 from Friday.

Monday morning 8am now at CSC no activity until later this evening I would imagine.

I'm sure things will move slow there today as it's Monday and they will all be talking about their weekend, black friday, cyber Monday etc.

I think Tuesday and Wednesday we will see a LOT of approvals.

If you filled the form you should get your NOA 2 via text/email then later via postal service.

Did you down load the app? you can just put your case number in there and it will alert you as well or plug it into www.uscis.gov the WAC #

We just received our text and email acceptance confirmation! Gosh it felt like forever, but it is nice to know that the process has started! I will be anxiously waiting for the hard copy in the mail.

We would like to send our application by Fedex (or similiar courier). Could you advice us what services/special options schould we choose? What is the best way to send it by courier? All of our documents (they are already printed and signed) have adress for couliers delivery on them so changing it to USCIS is rather impossible now. Thanks in advance!

---> This was also my concern. We already printed and signed the letters of intent with the courier address. However, my fiance sent it through USPS. Too late to change it. I read other forums about this and someone said the addresses in the letter don't matter much as long as the address on the envelope is correct and that the requirements are complete.

First time I sent mine via US Postal Service, 2 day'd it and requested a signature upon arrival received name of person that signed for it. No issues.

This time I sent it via UPS, 2 day'd it again. It was more expensive, requested a signature upon arrival (paid extra $2.00 for it), never even received name who actually signed for it but I wasn't worried about it. It was alright too.

Go with whatever you would like best.
