Yes Arisxx and you guys are right behind us but who know you could get approved before some of us October leftovers.

Just saw this for first time for a October 28th filer that case was decided today. "Decision Noticed Mailed". When click on case it says "We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options."

 

Hopefully nobody from VJ.

Usually a couple business days later. Sometimes they forget for NOA2, but expect the hardcopy in a week or 2.

Yikes that is scary . that will be me too many prior petitions..lol

 

I wonder if that is because someone file a K-1 and they are still married to someone else or they are not a US citizen and only a lawful permanent resident.

I  imagine they get all kinds of odd filers like those who never met or met more than 2 years ago.

Yes, I see the case approved there.  I forgot where I signed up for texts and emails -- is it somewhere on USCIS.gov or one of the forms?

Hi everyone  

 

I've been following very closely and quietly for the last couple months. I am so grateful to have such an amazingly positive and supportive group of people to go on this stressful and confusing journey with. 

 

Today Thomas and I got approved! We received or NOA1 on Nov 3rd, and today, the 25th of Jan we finally have our NOA2. 

 

Sending so many positive thoughts to everyone still waiting for their good news. And many thanks for the support and advice given so far!

Congrats!! I did see a couple of November 7 filers who got approved on geowrian's list!  Lucky you!

How did you find out you were approved?

Next up NVC

Start calling in 10 - 12 days until they give you your case number 

EDIT: I have your names already on my signature I'll go a head and fill in the good news NOA 2.

There is a form that you may have sent with your petition it sends you text/email for NOA 1 but many times it does not for the NOA 1.

If you sign up for a free account at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/disclaimer.do

then you can turn on notifications for email or phone text I believe.

Thanks for all your help! Been checking in everyday! hahah

 

I have the USCIS app! Leaving working today I looked down at my phone and it said "Your case has been approved". I almost couldn't drive home. hahah

 

Yes, definitely going to be very persistent with NVC. Hopefully things go quickly once they reach Kenya. But the US embassy in Nairobi, Kenya is the only embassy that processes K1's in all of East Africa. So lots of competition and back log when it comes to getting and interview date :/
