Were 14 approvals from the 500 I ran tonight for the October 31 fillers.

I was one of them!!! Hope others here were in that group as well and that all the rest of you get approvals soon. Looks like they are at least moving some petitions after the shutdown.

gonna go call my fiancée now

Congratulations.  Great call for your fiance tonight !!!

I'm finishing up my daily data dump of every K1 from ~Oct. 30-~Dec. 7. I should be able to post within the next hour.

Edit: I just glanced over at the script's output and am seeing a number of items touched today! Hopefully it's not just dumb luck on my timing. haha

I'm tracking that date too. I take screenshots and compare any new approval case numbers to old case numbers. Those two cases were once RFEs (ending in 859 and 948?). So I think they only approve old cases that they already sent RFEs out. I fear if the people who are approving cases are contractors. If so, then they'd leave the thicker packets sit and rott on the shelves seeing how the probably get paid per case instead of hourly. But that would also explain why they were working so fast before the slowdown.

I'm self employed, my packet was really thick with months of bank statements and 3 years of all my old tax papers from the IRS and other boring stuff proving I actually make money. I'm also a government contractor and get paid on production, not hourly. If I'm working as part of a group on a large project the easiest work will be completed first seeing how it will pay more. The tougher work (thicker packets) will sit until just before the deadline in hopes someone else will take it.

Maybe I'm all wrong and just being paranoid again.

Hi Nowrya,

I had been tracking 10/28 up until about last week.

I ran it again today. The ones I found go from 0045558 plus 500 then filter down to I-129F's

9 approvals today

80 total approved for 10/28

31 still unworked.

11/03/16....NOA1 Text and Email. Case sent to CSC

Hi Jim - didn't use up my searches today, so ran 10/31 just now. Using the first and last WAC as determined by Chelleyandaaron (first being WAC1790049058, last being WAC1790049978, total of 1000 cases searched), it appears that the totals today for 10/31 are:

102 approvals

3 rejected

69 RFEs

193 unworked/other

I do not know if that is any more approvals total than yesterday as I have not been tracking 10/31 and I can't find your last post quickly with all the data - but those are the total 10/31 receipt date numbers as of five minutes ago.

Ran these WAC ranges again tonight for 10/31 receipt date because I was curious! Above quoted stats are from 1/18, 6 days ago. Tonight, the totals are:

156 approvals

3 rejected

78 RFEs

129 unworked/other

It's moving slowly, but moving.

Edited to add: I realize other folks were posting on 10/28 and 10/31 as well and going to post much more thorough stats! I guess I jumped the gun, lol, but it felt good to be doing something.

You are correct, the lockbox facility scans and transmit the documents received to the CSC for storage for up to one year if approved and six years if rejected. After they scan the documentation, the Lockbox places all documents in a file folder and forwards the entire file to the appropriate Service Center for processing. There are certain parts of the verification process that the worker needs a paper file for such as verifying original signatures and photo evidence verification (making sure photo shop wasn't used.)

The scans used by the lockbox are sent through a computer to verify all essential requirements are met by the petitioner's packets such as signatures and required forms are attached.

Thanks for the reply!!!
