My fiancé has a copy of the original I-129 application in a white envelope and all other documents for the interview in a folder. But I just read instructions on the appointment confirmation letter that all documents should be in a clear folder? My fiancé said he's never even seen a clear folder . Wondering what other people have used

My wife had an exact copy of the binder I sent with the I-129. No issues, I wouldn't really worry about a clear folder as they can look at the documents if needed.

You are good with the folder. Just remember the only thing you can bring into the Embassy is your wallet. No cell phones and no keys with fobs or a remote on them. There is a guy in a trailer across the street that will store items ....not sure what it cost
