case transfered to CSC

I just checked my AOS status today, saw this:

On March 28, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them.

If that means that they got all the documents they need? not REF? means that i don't need interview? my fingerprint appointment is March 31st. hope everything goes well later.

It doesn't AUTOMATICALLY means no interview, but if it follows the trend you will have your green card soon.

I hope and I pray that my wife's AOS gets transferred to CSC as well.

Does anyone know the reason why some get transferred and some don't ?

Did you send evidence of your marriage with your I-130 or you came here on a immigrant visa (such as K1 or K3 ?)

I wonder if we could try to figure this out... by finding some coincidences in people who were and people who weren't transferred to CSC.

The OP is in Cincinnati, Romania, K1. NOA1 of 12/22/06. She had an interview in Cincinnati.

My hubby was in Cincinnati on a K1, UK. NOA1 of 12/7/06. We were transferred to CSC, no interview.

I figured it was a backlog thing but this shows that is not the case......

I came here with K1 Visa, i mailed AOS application in Feb.21st, they got it in Feb.23rd, i got NOA1 in March 5th, got fingerprint appointment letter in March 10th. so far so good. yes, i sent our marriage lisence with other documents when mailed the package.

One person was transferred to CSC and transferred back to Phoenix for interview. The current trend seems to be that many are now getting transferred back their local office if is no longer backlogged. I ask the Phoenix office and that is the general answer I got. If you read other posts, you will notice that recently some were transferred back to their local office for an interview.

Perhaps. But if you look at my above post, our NOA1 dates are 15 days apart & she had an interview & I got transferred. Strange! I wish there was rhyme or reason....

This could be a good thing. A month after Claudeth's AOS was transferred to CSC she got her GC without an interview. Good luck

It would be interesting to see if Cincinnati still continues to schedule interviews. Like I said, I researched Phoenix timelines and recently all have or have had interviews. Let's see if other cities are showing similar trends. Someone in Baltimore also said most of the cases get interviews.
