i got confused again with the status in ceac.. I'm worried about my status..after my interview went well the US consul told me to go to the IV to verify additional info of my documents the Filipino consul instructed me to submit another NBI clearance because of my birthday cert with correction and I need to put "AKA" on it.. so I received 221g but I keep my self not to get upset coz I know I did pass my interview and only my birth certificate and NBI clearance is my problem.. I did finish to submit my NBI and BC yesterday then when I looked at the CEAC website this morning they post that my case was "Issued" and now this afternoon it's "administrative processing" again! Do I need to get worried??? I'm so frustrated and upset..I was so happy this morning knowing that it was "issued".. and now this??!! do I need to get worried again?! Oh GOD!☹️️ I'm praying so hard right now☹️️

Different embassy but I received a 221g after my interview and was told approved just needed to summit more documents which I did. It was in ap for 2 weeks from the date of interview which is normal it's the time they do additional background checks and also process the visa.

I wouldn't worry to much

No you do not need to be worried. Someone clicked a wrong box, in reality you should be in AP for a time while the embassy reviews your documents and case file. Relax .. and be patient

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

Nothing here to be worried about. Look, take each step and complete what you can control and let go of that which you have no control. Look it's going to be fine. Patience.

Thank you everyone! Hoping and praying that I will have a good news this week.. my worrying has lessened and I'm planning to call the us embassy to follow up my status tomorrow.. have a blessed sunday to all!

There is no need for you to call the Embassy. You are within normal processing. Stay away from the phone. Just have patience. I'm not trying to be rude but we are all telling you to wait a little longer as everything is proceeding within a NORMAL processing. I just don't understand why you continue to be so concerned. Please relax.

Don't worry my dear . My sister had that problem before . All she did was go to NBI and requested a copy of AKA's with the embassy form . She got it after 2 hours and dropped it off at the embassy . Wait for 2 weeks and you will have your visa .?
