Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Oh my. Are you okay, Raphael? Did something happen today?

I don't want to presume anything but I think she feels that way because her young daughter is still living in Canada....

The things I love about the US:

- My wife and her family!

- The President to some extent...I disagree with him on various issues but overall have agreed with his decisions

- 2nd Ammendment, nuff said.

- Just in my experience, I've found people to be far less judgemental of me based on my background, what I wear etc, than other places I've lived.

- A decent manned space flight program (v close to my heart)

- Although I'll definately miss some of the food in the UK, I love practically all the food I've tried in the US so far.

- Decent military/law enforcement training and equipment (important for me with my career choices)

- Lower taxes overall than other places I've lived

- Bigger roads, and easier to drive than other places I've lived

- So much different scenery across all the different states, different cultures etc - if you don't like one, there's plenty more to choose from!

- So many opportunities for a great future!

Can't comment on public transport as I haven't tried it in the US...yet.

I like how everything is bigger in America, the cars, the food portions, and even some of the people, lol.

This reminds me of a joke:

A guy is in a hotel bar in Texas - new in town. Another guy walks in with a huge 10-gallon hat on his head. Our newcomer comments on it and second guy says 'Everything's big in Texas'. Then he orders a beer and the bartender hands him the biggest beer mug he's ever seen in his life and says 'Everything's big in Texas'. So he drinks it down and after a while starts feeling its effects. Staggering drunkenly, he gets up and asks where the bathroom is. The bartender points the way and he heads off. After 10-gallon hat guy noticed he had been gone for a long time, gets up to look for him. He hears a frantic splashing in the hotel pool - there our newcomer is waving frantically, screaming, 'IT DOESN"T FLUSH! IT DOESN"T FLUSH!

Food, cars, working environment and something else :) And people are mostly nice too.

I also like small buildings and lots of open space. That is, in the area where we live :)
