I'm waiting for 2 years and 2 months for background checks after Marriage based interview and I'm married for more then 3 years to us citizen... 

 

Contacting everybody and nothing. All of them told me to wait. Till when I died I guess :(

We had the stroke interview and officer approved our marriage, but after few days we receive another letter saying that the case is under review and since then nothing. 

I don't know what to do. If anybody can give me any suggestion?

Hi,

I petitioned for my husband on December 21, 2016. He is from Belgium. We have been married for 20 years and our two children are also US citizens.

We are still waiting ... there has been no update whatsoever.

We had our Congressperson send an inquiry and the response is "background check".

This is quite disheartening actually ...

So did you get any update on your case. Your situation is very similar to mine.

I think people stop checking this thread once they get approvals or may be just give up, i'm in similar situation now and no answers what so ever.

Would like to know what happened with you.
