A g325 is not required for the spouse that is a citizen right? I filed for my husband on a k1 and I have gotten conflicting answers on if I need to resend most of the documents that were already included in the k1

Do you know exactly what is to be sent? We haven't sent anything ye t but one list that is on here says a g325a but it doesn't say for who.

As well as the list that I have seen there are way more documents that they write that are needed then other lists I have seen. I just want to make sure that I get the right information then wait for a rfe.

Your post is a little confusing. I'm assuming you are filing for AOS right now? If so, no need for a G325a for the US spouse.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

9/24/15: I129f sent

The AOS applicant, which is the foreign spouse in this case, is the one that files the I-485 and provides the required documents for it. They are the one that needs to provide the G-325A. The USC petitioner/sponsor only needs to provide the I-864 and its supporting documents. Everything else is all about the AOS applicant.

Doing this step and I had an RFE for my i130 because of missing g325a for pettitoner and beneficiary. 2 please.

Yes, the I-130 requires one from the petitioner and one from the immigrant. Someone adjusting from a K family based visa, which is what this forum is about, does not submit an I-130. The I-485 only requires one from the immigrant applying for AOS. What you needed, is not the same as what those adjusting from a K-1 need.
