I am a bit surprised and shocked now. Me and my wife had our first marriage interview on September 20. We were told that our case was approved, the IO stamped "Approved" on my application and told me the card will be mailed in 2 weeks. After waiting for 5 weeks, I decided to make an InfoPass appointment and when I got there the guy told us our case is being scheduled for a second interview because the IO after we left felt like he has more questions to ask. Has this ever happened to anyone?

It's rare that they outright tell you you are approved and then turn around and go for a second interview. This second interview likely will be a Stokes one, where you are separated and asked the same questions, some of them in great detail (who made dinner last night? What did you eat? who sat at which side of the table?), and some even of an intimate nature.
