How to register fiancees' children for CFO?

Hello! I've been following these forums during our visa process and everyone here has been very helpful! Amazed at the experiences we have gone through. My question is this. Since our visa is just about to be issued, I registered my fiancee for the CFO seminar in Manila. But, unless I missed something, there was no area to register her children, ages 17 and 13. Can anyone point me to the right link or website? Again, my fiancee has an appt. confirmation. I just don't see where to register her kids. Thank you in advance for any help on this!

After much searching, I realized that, for her kids, I have to register for PDOS, not GCP. The only problem is we don't have a visa number yet. What makes no sense to me is why I can make an appointment for my fiancee WITHOUT the visa stamp, but I can't make one for her kids. Now, I most likely have to cancel her CFO appt on Nov. 9 or register her kids when we get the Visa. Most likely won't be able to schedule the kids for the same day. Sorry for the rant. It just seems like such a waste of time to have to jump through these hoops. Believe me, I get how the bureaucracy is anywhere in this world. Is is just frustrating. Thanks for listening

*** Country-specific thread is moved from the K-1 Process forum to the Philippines regional subforum. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

As you have found the children complete PDOS, and yes each department has a different process... Welcome to the Philippines!

Does your fiancee have a copy of your G-325A from the petition filing? It would be good to email a copy to her if not, copies of a few other documents.

Here is a link with a list of what is required from you, USC, for CFO http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/5-cfo-gcp-seminar

Thank you for your reply. Yes, she has copies and originals of our entire packet. Our interview was Oct. 17 and, although we got a 221G, the status went from AP to READY on CEAC. Hope to have visa in her hands, soon. Then, I can register her sons in the PSOD webpage. I will also send her the links you have included in your reply. Thanks again for your quick reply! I'm sure everyone here knows how little info you get when you actually try to contact any agency for help. Either phone menus that go nowhere or emails that never get returned. Well, can't fight city hall!

Once CEAC status goes to ISSUED it will be a couple more days before the visa package is ready for 2GO. Hope all goes smoothly for you

Hi, Scot. The email I received back from CFO said the K1 fiance goes to GCP and the children go to PDOS. But, since her daughter is under 13, I don't believe she has to attensd the PDOS. But, she will still need to have your fiancee register her for the seminar. Here is the email I contacted them at. I got a reply in 2 days info@cfo.gov.ph. Good luck...I also felt that the website wasn't clear on the distinction, either. And, even though your fiancee doesn't need the actual visa stamp for CFO, you cannot register her daughter online without it. They ask for the visa number and you can't continue to the next page if you don't have it...ask me how I know, lol! Good luck!

Fiancee attends GCP. Daughter is under 12 years of age, only needs to be registered AFTER you have the passports with visas. (12 and under only need to be registered, above that age attend PDOS)
