Hi,

Currently assembling my I-485 application for the Green Card and I received this email from RapidVisa:

which has been confirmed by USCIS:

https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-announces-final-rule-adjusting-immigration-benefit-application-and-petition-fees

This may have already been reported but I felt inclined to post in case as this was only announced yesterday.

The final filing date for the current fees is November 30th. Anything filed after this date will be charged at the new rate.

22/08/2016 - Administrative Processing

24/08/2016 - Visa issued

30/08/2016 - Visa received

24/09/2016 - Point of Entry

11/10/2016 - Married

The new USCIS fees go into effect on Dec. 23rd. Anyone can file forms on their own that will be mailed and arrive to the USCIS before Dec. 23rd. Don't mistake the actual USCIS deadlines for deadlines of some visa form-filling company.
