I noticed that many airlines have only Mr and MRS as an option. I tried to book my flight to Israel and Elal airline was giving me only these 2 options. Thankfully i found a cheaper flight and didn't have to go through that headache of MRS :)

NorthWest Airlines put Luz down as a MS. I didn't even think about any possible problems with that. I doubt if the immigrations officer will have a problem with the Mrs part of it.

Hmmm...does anyone know for sure about the title "Mrs." being used as a sign of respect? I love Wiki and use it a lot...but I know it's written by regular joes..anyone can edit it, etc...so I wouldn't rely on that too too much. I didn't look it up before I came on here to post, so it may be true as well...but I've never heard of that before. Then again, you learn something new every day right??? That WOULD be a new one on me though...I've only ever heard Mrs. as married....you would say Ms. or Miss otherwise... I would look somewhere other than in Wikipedia for absolute clarification though.

Not that it's THAT important, by the way...you just got me curious now!! :P:) M.

Mrs. (mÄs'Äz) Pronunciation Key

n. pl. Mmes. (mÄ-däm', -dÄm')

Used as a courtesy title for a married or widowed woman before the surname or full name of her husband: Mrs. Doe; Mrs. John Doe.

Used as a courtesy title for a married, widowed, or divorced woman before her own surname or full name: Mrs. Doe; Mrs. Jane Doe. See Usage Note at Ms.

Used in informal titles for a married woman to indicate the epitomizing of an attribute or activity: Mrs. Wonderful; Mrs. Organization.

Dictionary.com...again, not important in the least..wasjust curious! :)
