You should look at some guides it's pretty simple.

Do not get the wrong idea of her coming soon. Your journey with this process has only just begun.

This site has some guides. We are better here with focused questions.

I'm at the same point as you. I'm filing for my husband.

Because I added the g1145 I received by email anc text and then mail that our case is being processed and it is being sent to Nebraska. I know the next step is getting financial documents together 3 years tax returns and 6 months of proof of income and the i864 form.

Form me I need another person to go on with me to show more support financially.

And the request for this information will take a few months to my understanding with a 70.00 fee.. again I'm still learning I came across this thread I'm posting below that is a bit confusing but seems to be very detailed of the process let me know if it helps

Just wanted to give a small update. As you know I sent in my I-130 and received my form I-797 on the first week of January. I havent heard a thing since. They have yet to update anything on my case on the uscis website. I am assuming this is the normal wait time for this?

It took 5 months before we received the NOA2. Check the timeline for the Service Center where your case was sent. It will give you an estimate.

Unfortunately today I got an RFE. I had pretty much sent nearly everything I had at the time. I have some western union slips and additional call logs now but not much else new. I suppose I can send more of our wedding photos. Will they accept video or even a thumb drive with files? I am hoping that my one and only trip there isnt going to be an issue. How do I go about recompiling this evidence for them? Im assuming I dont have to re file the i-130 all together and that they are keeping the evidence I sent safe somewhere.

More than  one would have definitely helped. If you have more pictures or chat logs, try and send those. Good luck!

For future reference, always make a copy of what you send. You never know what may happen. Did they specify exactly what additional information is requested?

They are just asking for more evidence. I have plenty that I am going to give them. It just doesn't specify on the paper they sent me on whether or not I need to send in more money or another i130. Im guessing I just need to send evidence with a case number but I want to just make sure. Tomorrow is when im getting everything together so id love if someone could help a brother out
