Actually I don't even own a idiot box and never watch Fox news. I don't trust the corporate media whether they are left or right leaning. I am neither a Republican or democrat and I tend not to participate in the false left right paradigm. No I have never heard of Nate Silver hence the reason I asked what his track record of predicting previous elections is. I find it funny that when a leftist objects to something you say they accuse you of watching Fox news and when a right winger objects they accuse you of watching MSNBC or something to that effect.

Of course I watched that clip that happens to be on Fox news. However it was being implied that I watch Fox news all the time and that couldn't be further from the truth. I watch a lot of youtube videos from many sources but because I watched one from Fox news that means that is where I get all my information from? Give me a break.

I know how to use google. I just have no interest in looking into who this Nate Silver person is unless someone can give me a reason to do so such as a track record of being accurate. So far no one has said anything about his track record.

Give me a break. I am in favor of many so called left wing ideas. As I said I don't participate in the false left right paradigm. It's funny. Whenever I have a view a Democrat disagrees with all they can do is call me a right winger and when I have a view a Republican disagrees with I am called a liberal. To sum it up I guess you could say I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I believe in low taxes as many conservatives do and I am anti war as many liberals are for example. But you believe whatever you want to believe. You don't know me and you know nothing about who I am.

I was accused of "living in a Fox news bubble". That is not true and that is the point I was making. Nice attempt at a strawman argument though. Of course I watch clips of Fox news. I also watch clips from CNN MSNBC ABC CBS ect. Unlike you I don't just put the blinders on because of who reports the information. I am more interested in the information it's self regardless of who reports it.

This Nate Silver guy is not a pollster but a statistician. Baseball, elections, new trends in soda...its all the same to him as he is a numbers guy. In the case of elections he rates the relative 'accuracy' of polls and compiles those into am aggregate that , hypothetically, produces a superior prediction of what will happen next.

You still haven't answered my question. How many elections has he accurately predicted? The professor I cited does more than simply averaging polls that may or may not be accurate.

Yeah I am in a Fox news bubble because I posted a clip of a professor being interviewed by Fox news who has also been interviewed by many other media outlets. Maybe if I had posted a clip of him on CNN I would be accused of living in a CNN bubble.
