I'm a Thai and I can tell you that. As long as she didn't go to Thailand and tell the authority that she wants to give up her Thai citizenship, then she will be just fine. Dual Citizenship is the answer without any need to file any application. When she travel to Thailand; uses Thai passport, and when she comes back; use the U.S. passport... easy easy.. And she can't forget to renew her Thai ID, that's it.
