Me and my fiance are still planning to get married.. And planning to file i-130 after we get married. We already opened a joint account in philippines as one of the proof. But my name on the account is my maiden name since we are not yet married. Does it matter? Or i need to change it if we get married?

I dont think it would matter. As long as there are deposits made by him to that account. I have submitted a statement of a credit card extension who was then under my maiden name from my husband now. Included transaction history as well showing co mingling of finances.

The important thing about joint accounts is that they are shared by you and your spouse, meaning both the names appear on the statements. I think whether or not its in your old name or new name doesn't matter.

I would try asking at the bank if they could signature it or stamp the statement documents.

Also, try gathering additional evidence about the relationship.
