I came to USA with my mother legally in 2010.

She just received her unrestricted green card this year.

My mom never applied for my green card.

How do I get my green card?

Do I have wait for her to become a citizen?

I will be 18 soon and want to attend college.

Thank you for any help

hi

you must return to your country, do you have relatives that you can live with? the reason you came on a K2 Is for your stepdad to file for you at the same time he filed for your mom.

when he didn't file for you after they married, you were supposed to return to your country. there is no way that you can get a GC by being in the country because you entered with a K2, a promise that you would get a GC through your ex stepdad and only through him

in order for your mom to file for you, since you have been undocumented in the country, is for you to leave now, since you are under 18, you don't have a ban.

she can file for you and the wait will be 2 years

the wait will be worth it because you will get the GC and you will be able to study here
