Packet 4 was emailed to us within like 9 hours. Most people get it within the same day as long as it's not the weekend, the longest are usually 48 hours.

Make sure they have processed you case though. MANY of us have sent packet 3 emails before Montreal processes the case, in which they just simply ignore the email. Them having it, is not the same as them processing it. We sent one packet 3 too early, email was ignored, we sent it again after I found out that it was processed and 9 hours later we got packet 4.

So watch your email, packet 4 is basically a long typed up email, you won't get anything in the mail other than a hard copy of packet 3, but most send off their packet 3 email well before getting the packet 3 hard copy.

Thank you for your response!

Do you recall where we are supposed to address the emailed documents to?

We did it to montreal-iv-dv@state.gov

Thanks again.

I've looked at a lot of timelines on here and it seems like Package 4 takes between 3-12 business days. I'm on my 6th business day waiting. If I don't hear back from them by Thursday I'm emailing in the packet 3 again.

Where was your email addressed to? I want to make sure she is sending to the right email.

Thanks for your response!!

As far as I know the email address is Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov somone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Also you need to make the subject of the email your MTL number and your DS160 receipt number. They have a very clear example on the checklist.

I followed the checklist to the letter so I'm hoping I get mine back soon. I'm kinda freakin out here lol.

Ah I see! We had an interview scheduled but it was cancelled because she didn't send proof of her Status in Canada.

We've scheduled a new one and now just crossing our fingers it doesn't get cancelled again. We sent the proof of her status along with the other packet 3 stuff again via the same email address that you sent to.

We sent that on Oct 10.. still waiting on response.

Also sent some inquiries.. but still have yet to receive a response on that too.

Your interviews are being canceled because you don't have Packet 4 yet. Oh wow that's been a while. Maybe message the consulate on Facebook? They have a group and they take messages (https://www.facebook.com/U.S.CGMontreal). I've been waiting since the 14th. I also sent in some questions by email on the 6th and still haven't received a response on those.
