hello!

so quick question :)

my boyfriend got in trouble with the law when he was 16 in The Netherlands, he was arrested and was put into the Halt Program which is just community service program they have over there. he completed it and once he turns 21 (which he did in September) it would be erased. The police however still have the records but they can't give it out, they have the VOG which is a certificate of conduct.

he's wondering to mark yes or no on the K1 visa about ever being arrested, since it's erased and that the conduct would say that he is in good conduct meaning he is clear.

if anyone had similar experiences or any advice please let me know!

thank you :)

Any arrests or convictions ,ust be disclosed to USCIS regardless of age.

being a juvenile when this happened will not go against him,. however

failure to reveal would turn onto misrep that will cause a bar from the

US...he will require a police certificate during the process. Best honest

& dont sweat a juvi record
