I'm a US citizen, want to file I-130 for parents in India. They have already been to US twice on visitor's visa. Currently their visitor's visa is expired.

The problems are -

1. They have no birth certificates. What can I do about this? Will their passport or some kind of affidavit suffice for this?

I don't have a birth certificate either. When I applied for my GC many years back, both my parents sent a notarized affidavit saying I am their son and I was born on xyz date/place and have no birth cert.

2. They have no marriage certificate. But they have photos of their marriage from 45 yrs back. Can they provide affidavits from 2 relatives who attended their wedding?

3. If they apply for their visitor's visa renewal before filing for GC, will they be able to travel to US while the GC application process is going on or will they have to wait in India until it is complete?

4. What other documents will be required to start the process?

Thank you so much in advance.
