good day! im a bit anxious about my status.. november 2015 i applied for tourist visa (hoping to visit him) and was interviewed january 2016 which the consulate denied my application.. now im holding a K1 visa, (my fiance and i submit our k1 visa application april 2016) received our NOA 2 september 2016, had done with my medical this month.. i have my interview on 24th of October..

1. does my tourist application last time will affect my interview in k1 visa? and

2. another question is apparently our documents for affidavit of support is still pending at DHL hongkong:( (due to bad weather condition) does the consulate will accept scan forms of I-134, form 1040 (income tax return), W-2 form (wage statements)?

oooh! please help.. big thank you!

I believe you will need a wet signature on the I-134. Tax returns and W-2s can be photocopies. If the I-134 hasn't arrived by the date of your interview, bring a photocopy of it along with you. The CO may accept the photocopy, but if not you will most likely be given a green 221g form indicating that you need to send the form back along with the original I-134. My fiancee forgot to bring his original birth certificate to his interview, and he needed to send it back along with the 221g. It added about 3 weeks to the processing time, but ultimately his visa was issued.

Original signatures are needed on the I-134 and updated "letter of intent".

Also as long as there was nothing to do with any misrespresentation on the visitors visa application, it will have no affect on you.

I didn't have any idea, we just keep on checking our case by the receipt they just gave to my fiancé..we completed the requirements needed in K1 visa but it took us 4mos to get our NOA2 maybe it depends to the NVC or USCIS..

The law states only that you must have met in person within 2 years of filing the petition.

It does not say how long you must have been together. No specifics such as 1 minute, 1 day, 1 month.

So you met the requirement. However what they will look at is proof of relationship. How often do you communicate and by what method.

Good luck

Jim

I agree with him! When my fiancé visited me this year he only had 2weeks to spend time with me and we need lots of pictures together.. so we visit his relatives and did out of town to maximize his 2weeks vacation leave. The pictures are evidence for your genuine relationship..when then CO handed my documents in front of me during the interview he looked at our pics together and didnt ask anything.. Goodluck!

Hello! When i review my DS-160 form of fiancée visa today,i see there is a mistake about where they say if you had refused visa,i put yes and said : B1/B2 refused visa, but the website system put no.It did that a second time. The first time i corrected it and had a new confirmation number.I write the Embassy about that and send them the Ds-160 form and the page confirmation number. What should i do,please?
