My EAD and AP still show up as invalid numbers on the case tracker. AOS finally comes up as valid, however I get this message:

Notice Was Returned To USCIS Because The Post Office Could Not Deliver It

On October 13, 2016, the Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX, because they could not deliver it. This could have a serious effect on your case. Please go towww.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice immediately. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.


I called the post office and they said my zip code somehow got changed in their system (we moved on Sept 1 so I called to update my forwarding address with them, but live in the same zip code as we only moved about 3 blocks away) and they fixed it while i was on the phone. I already filled the form to have the notice re-sent, but they said that it can take until November 4th to get a 'response'.
Any idea what this notice could be about? I assume that nobody on the phone would be able to physically re-mail the notice without waiting the processing time but any advice on what I should do at this point would be helpful.

12/6.16 - EAD/AP Received

1/21/17 - New card ordered for production

1/23/17 - Greencard Approved (no interview)

1/24/17 - Greencard Mailed

1/26/17 - Greencard Received

 

  • On Oct 13th AOS status was updated to say that a notice was returned due to post office being unable to deliver it. Tier two told me that it was biometrics or NOA1 (even though I had received both before this date).

  • A few weeks later I received a notice dated Nov 10th, in regards to my call about the Oct 13th notice. The new notice said that there were no RFE's or withholding on my case. So still not sure what this Oct 13th notice was about.

  • Received a letter from a NY office on Dec 23rd (dated Dec 10) stating that my medical was over 1 year old. (At this point my medical was only 7 months old)

  • Teir two submitted an internal service request to which I got a response telling me that I need to respond to RFE ASAP

  • Submitted another service request on 1/6/17. To which I got a response on 1/19/17 stating that my case was pending and is outside of processing time (no mention of RFE)

xx/xx/xx - Card Received

could be RFE or notice to come for interview

but understand these notices are not forwarded for reasons that people before you have used immigraiton fraudently

that is why they insist you offically change your address

not forward thru the mail

you could give them email ID and ask that the letter be delivered to email

I have received NOA1 in the mail and had my bio on Oct 7th. I tried updating my signature but it keeps giving me and error

Edit: It didn't like my ticker countdown thing. Signature is up to date now

Could be RFE/RFIE or interview letter?...
