Hi I did the voluntary departure back in 2010 and wondering if I'd be able to go back there? I have a daughter who was born there and mother who is a citizen, they're both there. Will anyone please give me an advice? I just really want to get back there, I miss my daughter so bad.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I had an arson charge in my senior year but got reduced to destruction of property which I never did I just confessed because I was intimidated. Got withdrawn from school and ended up wasting my GPA and got a GED instead. I had like 3 underage drinking charge although that til 2010.

Green card or tourist either one which ever is the easiest.

You are unlikely to get a tourist visa, but if you have the money for the application, no harm in trying, all they can say is no.

You don;t seem to have a path to a greencard until your daughter is 21 and can petition you.

You must always be honest with all your charges. If you were actually charged with arson, but plead down then you must admit the arson charge. Even if the underage drinking was underage, I believe those must also be disclosed.

On what basis were you in the US prior to 2010.

You can always apply for a tourist visa, and your Mother can apply to sponsor you.

Sounds like you would have a long wait before your daughter can.
