Hello everyone,

my fiancee has completed her interview in London. She is now waiting for her visa. She currently doing an internship in London which will end in february. She answered she would like to come to the US in february 2016 when asked when she plan to travel.

I would like to know if the US embassy will consider her request and deliver a visa starting in february?

Not unless she made a deal with them to hand in a new medical in February? The visa will be valid for no more than six months starting from the day of the medical. But, if she had her medical recently, that should cover an entry in February.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

2/8/17: GC received (day 150)

11/3/2018: ROC window opens

Considering that her visa will be valid for 6 months, will that include the 3 months we have to get married once she enters the US? By that I mean, does she have 6 months to come to the US or she should enter the territory and get married within the 6 months?

I will appreciate your answers as it will help us plan our wedding accordingly

No, that's unrelated. The visa is only valid for one entry, and upon entry it grants 90 days legal presence in the US. During those 90 days, you need to get married.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Thank you for your answers. They are really helpful in our planning.

I have another question. When my fiancee and I get married, what other documents do we need to provide to immigration beside The form and our certificate of marriage?
