NVC expedite - turnaround times- London

Hi everyone!

It has now been more than 4 weeks than the NVC accepted our expedite requested and forwarded it to the embassy in London where I am supposed to be interviewed as I have been living in the UK for a while now. When I check our status online, it says "Ready". It has been updated to "Ready" on the first week of October, more than 2 weeks ago, but I still haven't received the appointment letter.

How much longer do you guys think I will need to wait to get to the interview stage? How many more months will I have to wait before receiving this letter? I highly doubt that I will have my interview before next year. I am now hoping to have an interview before my birthday in May even though it sounds quite optimistic considering how slowly things are moving.

Any thoughts? I contacted the embassy through the contact form on their website but they never replied...

First meeting: 04/14/12

Can the USC phone the embassy and ask for an interview ASAP?

It may help if you change the country flag on your profile to UK, as you will be interviewing there, so others with experience with that embassy can see your question in the country portal.

We can not call the embassy as they won't discuss any immigrant visa process over the phone. All we can do is using the online contact form.
