Fed Ex K3 I-129F?

Good evening:

I sent the K3 I-129F application via Fed Ex to:

U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services

P.O. BOx 7218

Chicago, IL 60680-7218

As stated in the www.uscis.gov

However, after reviewing the Fed Ex US Airbill it says in tiny letters: We cannot deliver to P.O Boxes or P.O. Zip Codes.

Has anyone had a problem sending their k3 application via Fed ex after receiving the Noa 1 for the I-130?

Thanks.

Hmmm....No. It's hard to say. Most likely you would need to call them up, and confirm whether or not it will be delivered.

Per your timeline you sent your k3 application via priority mail...that was mailed to the chicago PO BOX?

Yes. A P.O. is a service offered by USPS. So, it makes sense that it will be delivered to the P.O. If the package is large, they generally would leave a notice to the receiver in their P.O. to pick up the package at the counter. Priority Mail is offered by USPS.

Normally the FedEx employee would not accept your package if its going to a P. O. Box. Your best bet now is to track the package or go back to the location where you mailed it from and ask them if it will be delivered or returned to your "return address".

Best,

Yes, you will find out later today whether FEDex will actually deliver to that particular post office box. They are a courier service and require a signature. The recipient is the USCIS, who does not have a representative standing by at the post office box location to sign for receipt of your package. I suspect the zip code was scanned and the package shipped but when the driver in Chicago sees it, the package will not be delivered because it cannot be. It will come back on the truck at the end of the shift and be returned to you the next day.

I suggest you use express mail, which is held by the post office for signature by the boxholder.

Well my package was delivered today by Fed Ex and the package was received by the Receptionist at the USCIS in Chicago, they re-routed the package to the actual USCIS Federal Building (Physical Address).

Thank you everyone.
