I had my interview yesterday and consul gave me a blue slip for administrative processing and told to me to submit one missing docs and send it back to them thru empost or direct at the US Embassy abu dhabi, my question is, do I need to send also my passport to them along with my documents? Thanks in advance!

Did they instruct you to send your passport with the documents? If not, then no.

They will need your passport along with the other document that they asked from you. They will need if for the visa to be processed, they will send(mail) it back to you with the 2 packets.
