So turns out ours will be in Lawrence and not Boston.  Is there any specific reason for this?  are the two names used interchangeably?  It makes me a little nervous with the Lawrence office being in the news recently due to ICE officers detaining people mid interview.

Don't panic, I'm sure you'll be fine. Some of us don't have an interview yet so be thankful 😊

We had our interview yesterday. Officer said everything looked good but noticed that the civil surgeon forgot to fill out the Tb test. So IO gave us a paper saying that our case is for further review. Oh my goodness! This got me so mad. Now, I called the civil surgeon's office and they are permanently closed since 3/14. I don't know what to do. I'm so nervous right now.

Just adding that anyone having interviews at Boston Jfk building it will be ok. We were in and out in 25 mins. 5 mins interview, nice officer( they wear plain clothes).

He asked for no extra documents, nor questioned my husband.

Re read the i485 form and had me re answer the questions on it and said I was approved.

Made it to the subway and got a case updated my Gc was in production.

Come prepared but overall very nice  interview.

Good luck everyone

Lawrence is a different field office, definitely not the Boston one. You go to one or the other depending on where you live. I had my interview at Lawrence and didn't have any problems, it was actually pretty nice and harmless

Thank you.  I am sure I am being unnecessarily nervous - I just want the whole process done!

We had our interview yesterday at the JFK building in Boston. Our interview went well and the officer approved our case. Within an hour after our interview I received an email from USCIS saying that my case has been approved and a new card in ordered/produced :-)
