So what do your updates look like? My 485 says ready to interview but my I130 has not changed at all.

Still says we received your biometric fee. Bla bla bla. The only update on my cases was the EAD/AP

Yeah, it is so annoying that there is such a disparity in processing times between the field offices :-(

Based on timelines for the Boston office listed here on VJ I am guessing we will have an interview in May or June - though on the official immigration current timeline for Boston section it seems like it could be more like August or September.

AOS

10/13 Package mailed (Day 1)

11/04 NOA letter (Day 22)

11/18 Biometrics appointment letter received. Bio Date of 12/2 (Day 36)

12/02 Biometrics taken (Day 50)

01/13 EAD approved via USCIS webpage (AP was never updated on web) (Day 92)

01/17 AP approved via NOA in mail  (never got written NOA for EAD in mail) (Day 96)

01/18 EAD Card Mailed (Day 97)

01/20 Combo Card received in Mail  (Day 99)

Any October filers I-485 status not been updated to "ready to schedule interview"? We haven't received any updates on our I-485 status since sending in our response to the RFI we received on our I-485 which they received on January 3rd.

I got  a letter saying waiting for an interview with no status update since ead. Wait 90 days before inquiry.

Well, hopefully, we get some update soon. I can't call to inquire about the status because I am not the "applicant" and by the time my husband gets off there are no tier 2 support agents available to speak with. We are grateful for receiving the EAD/AP combo but now with everything going on we would really find some comfort with at least getting his green card.

Every time I call, I am constantly told that I need to have the applicant present to hear specific details about my case.

You can search peoples timelines here on VJ.   Set the search criteria for people with similar vosa type (AOS) and same local office.  Find the most recent cases and calculate the time from NOA1 until interview date.

We received EAD/AP card in  mid Feb. but I-485 is still showing Response to RFE received 12/16/2016. The last AOS from K1 at the Kansas City office was processed on 1/19/17 with a filing date just 2 weeks before ours. I'm beginning to think they have gone on an extended vacation in that office.

After the EAD the time line gets really weird. I'm not even sure they are processed in order, it's all up to the case officers from here...

Hey everyone, since I'm a Newark filer I haven't had any updates since receiving the EAD/AP Card. My status hasn't even been updated to "ready to schedule for interview." Last update to I-485 was on November 4, 2016.

Regarding Newark NJ: Processing times seem to be improving! Last update on March 8: as of Jan. 31 2017 they are processing cases from April 5 2016! That's a 2 month improvement since I filed.

I'm a newark filer too and we are in literally same position. I filed in October 2016, received my ead in Jan. Since then nothing has been updated. I'm hoping that we will hear good news soon.
