Do they leave the envelope containing the combo card in the mail box or do we have to sign to get the envelope?

they left my combo card in the mailbox.. if the online status change to card has been mailed to me.. you can call uscis tier two to ask for the tracking number so its easy for u to track it and easy for u to clear off your day and wait for you combo card.. or else just make a usps account so they can notify you if theres any mail coming your way! good luck guys! and wish me luck too, this coming tuesday is my interview! fingers crossed!

and as soon as you all get your combo card, go to ssa building ang get your ssn.. my ssn card arrived a wk after i applied for it.. but useless i cant apply for work, currently pregnant and next month is my due date, hopefully my gc will be approved after the interview and hopefully having this baby will get me approve on the spot!  so i dont have to worry about this waiting game anymore..

EAD card being produced  finally!

hello guys its been a great day for me! Just finish my AOS interview in louiville ky i got approved on the spot and 2 hrs after the interview they sent me a text message and email that my form I-130 is approved and I-485 card is being produced.. and i asked the immigration officer after the interview if my background check is all good, she told me yes and they woundnt have schedule me for interview if its still pending.. so most probably for those of you who havent scheduled for interview yet your background check might still be pending.. if you have any questions of how did the interview goes and the questions she asked feel free too ask.. she said i should get my gc in the mail by 2 wks to 1 month.. so thank god im finally done with this.. wish u all the best of luck!!

Congratulations! When did you file? Also, how long from the time you received your EAD card until you were able to schedule your interview? We haven't received any further communication since receiving our EAD/AP combo card.

10.05.16- filing date

12.05.16-ready to be schedule for interview

12.30.16- scheduled for interview on 01.31.17

01.05.17-ead card approved

01.06.17-eAd card and ap was mailed to me

01.12.17- card in the mailbox

01.31.-17- interview schedule 9:55 am, done by 10:20 am approved on the spot... separated me and Dh.. 12:55 noon night txt msg n mail saying 1-485 card ordered for production, I-130 name updated.. by 7:00 pm another txt n email saying I-485/I-130 case approved. 

 

like wat the IO said to me if you werent scheduled for interview yet your background check is still pending.. maybe my background check came back fast coz i have been in and out of the country since 2010 using d visa due to my job as a flight attendant and in and out of the country as tourist. Got no rfe, have a lot of evidence as bonafide marriage.She is giving me 2 yrs conditional gc that i need to renew 90 days before expiration. so far im waiting for the welcome letter in the mail and hopefully the gc will be next..

Congratulation!!! I'm very happy for you. I got my EAD/AP combo card on 1/31/2017 still waiting for our interview to be scheduled.
