Haven't heard back yet however i am only on 86 days. i got an RFIE but then i've seen others with that as well that have gotten their cards.

I wanted to start prepping my congressperson letter as well seeing as Newark is so slow. Is it possible to share a template of your letter please? Thank you :)

Mine just got approved today. Check your Uscis to see if they updated yours. I didn't recieve any notification. I just login to my uscis and alas, I saw "New Card being produced" I hope you get yours soonest.

Timeline

Hello everyone :)!

I'm a new member here but to be honest I've visited this website quite a lot during our K1 process and recently because of our AOS process.

All the timelines on here helped me so much so I decided to join and I hope my timeline will help people too!

Here it is:

AOS filing location: Chicago Lockbox

Date filed: 10/24/2016

Filed for I-485, I-765 and I-131

NOA date: 11/07/2016

Biometrics Appointment: 11/28/2016

Rfie for I-485 received: 11/28/2016

Rfie response received by USCIS: 12/02/2016

Ever since my status on my I-485 is "response to initial evidence received" and for my EAD and AP it's "on October 24th we received your case".

I submitted a request USCIS just recently and am waiting for a response. Although it's been over 90 days I don't know what to think since I had a request for initial evidence.

I'd love to start working in February. If you guys have any helpful advice or comments I'd really appreciate it!!!

Congratulations to everyone who already has their EAD!!!

Thanks. It was really an emotional roller coaster. I just wish other people that are long over due will receive theirs too. It wasn't an easy wait!

You should complete your K1 portion of your timelime to close you out ot those processing times.  If you don't complete your updates it looks as if your K1 visa is still pending on Igor's list.

Hello,

Welcome to the group! I think most times RFIE affects your Priority date. But if you are lucky, they will overlook that (well it depends on the importance of the evidence). I will count from the day uscis received my Rfie to be on the safe side.

Goodluck!

Thank you very much!! It was for the Affidavit of Support which we had filled out incorrectly so I had to fill it out completely new!

Good luck to you too!!!

Does anyone who applied for both EAD and AP know if we will get a combo card or just EAD card? My online status for EAD is "New Card being produced" but for AP is still "Case received"?

Mine says the same thing too. But don't worry, the card is a combo card for both AP and EAD
