Employment Based Green Card - Consular Processing Canada

Hi,

I am currently being sponsored for an Employment Based Green card by a US company. I am residing in Vancouver on a Working Holiday Visa and am working remotely for my US based company as a contractor until my Green card is in place. I am now close to the consular processing stage.

My question is, when it comes to my Consulate interview, will I have to go to Montreal? I understand that I am eligible for consular processing in my country of residence, which is currently Canada. Does anyone know the rough timeframe from approval of I-480 to being able to schedule an interview? Any recent experience would be appreciated.

Thanks!
