We turned in the required documents and did the ds 260 online towards the middle of September . We received a letter from nvc that they received the packet and that it would take around 30 days to review and receive interview date. We have not received anything. And when I checked online at the ceac gov website it said to please follow what the nvc sent you that list the six steps you must take before nvc can schedule your visa interview. All the letter said was when they got the packet and to wait for the interview 30 days. Is this what it's supposed to say till you actually get a interview date ?

That's just standard verbiage to wait the 30 to 45 days or say. Some are taking 6 weeks to get case complete.

You did all the steps DS-260, paid fees and sent in IV and AOS package now you wait. The email you got that they received it that date in letter is your Scan date figure about 40 or so days from that date for case complete. Than you will be in interview queue.

December scheduling will start end of this month maybe you will be done by then. All you can do is wait.

But you can keep your eye on the ceac.state.gov portal to watch for your AOS fee to change from PAID to N/A that's the 3 N/A's we speak of and means Case Complete. Than you call NVC to verify.

When I put my information in the ceac website it says "please follow the steps you received from the (nvc) that lists the six steps you must take before nvc can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes fees, forms, and documents . Once nvc recieves all those following items, they will let you know if anything is.." Has anyone else had that. We submitted the ds 260 at the same time we submitted the last packet.

As dwheels and JFH have already stated, you just have to wait for your case to be completed before they can schedule you for an interview. NVC has been slow in reviewing cases lately so all you can do is wait and be patient.
