On September 14 I received a letter in the mail stating that the National Visa Center (NVC) received my approved I-129F and will now be forwarded to the Consulate in Taiwan. On September 19 I received an email from the Taiwanese Consulate saying they have "in receipt an approved I-129F on my behalf from the NVC." Did it really only take 5 days to get from New Hampshire to Taipei, Taiwan? The letter even said it could take several weeks to process. Neither one of us has received anything since September 19. I will call tonight to confirm (as it's 3 am over there now) but just curious if it has happened this quickly for anyone else?

Also, I am assembling a copy of the I-129F packet to send to her and I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything. I have:

- Complete copy of approved I-129F packet

- I-134 affidavit of support

- Signed proof of employment

- Statement from bank showing deposits, etc.

Am I missing anything? Thank you!

I think it may have taken more than 5 days. I am sure they sent the letter to you at the same time they mailed the packet to the Consulate in Taiwan. So probably more like 7 or 8 days. I don't think this is an unreasonable amount of time for it to arrive since they most likely used DHL. I think the average processing time from the NVC to the Consulate on here is about 5 days though.

As far as the I-134, you might want to also want to send copies of your last 3 years of 1040's and or Tax Transcripts. I also sent pay stubs as well.
