I've been trying to complete the DS-160 form since Friday. There are 2 sections of the form that absolutely will not save. I have switched browsers, I have logged back in and out, I've completely started new applications at least 4 times. I am pulling my hair out here and crying because it's just so frustrating. Someone mentioned that the website was down for maintenance until sometime Sunday, but it's now Monday afternoon and I still cannot get this form to work. Please someone guide me on how to proceed. I've tried googling who to contact for technical issues but I have no idea. Who did these other people call to find out the website was down for maintenance? Also if I just continue on with the form with those empty spaces, does it it give you a chance to check everything over? or is that it? I'm wondering maybe if I continue past the picture portion if it will prompt me to put in the missing spaces and maybe that will solve my issue, but I'm too scared to keep going in case it just somehow is bugged and finishes the form without those sections being completed.

I can't speak to the technical issues it is having, but I do know that once you have completed the form, you will have a chance to look back over everything. Perhaps you should try completing the form as much as you can then go through the review portion and fix everything you couldn't fill in before. If you are still having issues, then there should be a number you can call or something.

What is the error you are getting when you try to save the page? I had this happen a couple of times when working on the form last night for Jon, but we were able to get it through. If you got the same error we did I may be able to help guide you through it!

So, I didn't have any actual errors pop up. The issue was that I would type in information and then when I pressed back to view it again, it would disappear and never save. However, I've just gotten to the review portion and while the information still doesn't show up in the "complete" part of the form it appears to be showing up on the review section. Do you think it would be okay to submit like this?

If everything has shown up in the review section, then I would think you could submit it. After all, it requires that all questions be answered before you can move on anyway.

Hi guys, I just completed my DS-160.

I looked over it a billion times and then I realized, to my horror, that I was missing information. I had to type my fiance's name many times, but on one of them I forgot to put his middle name.

I'm sure it's not a big deal, but because this is so important to me (obviously) it's freaking me out and making me really anxious.

I haven't paid for anything or emailed the embassy yet with my form. I read that you can make a new DS-160 and just use the new confirmation page. Should I do this? Has anyone done this and had any issues?

Thanks!

Klee, I have almost the same problem. When I was filling it, it behaved strange, not going back, erasing some of my answers. Finally I filled it out, but after signing it, it was supposed to open confirmation page with whole form. Instead, I got error. i tried to recover application and it said that ds 160 was submitted and offered to open confirmation page. However, it never opened it, instead I have error always. It is the same since Friday. i tried everyday and it doesn't work. Drives me crazy too. Hope they will fix it since apparently their website doesn't work properly. I also tried different computers, browsers. nothing helped
