Hello everyone! Good news!

"On July 19, 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number -. Your interview is on August 22, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by August 18, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Also, not sure if this is just a coincidence but I logged into my uscis.gov online account yesterday to update my phone number and several hours later (so this morning) I received text notifications and an email that my case status has been updated!

Good news!!! Excited for you. I'm still waiting on them.

Hey Guys,

So since I didn't receive interview date while almost everyone is receving theirs, I scheduled an infopass and my appointment was today. When I got there I just explained to the (very nice and helpful) man that I am yet to receive my interview date and I am getting worried. He just checked and printed out my interview notice for September 12th. Meanwhile my uscis online has not yet been updated.

Long story short, I received my interview date today! At yhe infopass appointment.:D I'm so happy! Now I have to get all the documents ready.

Wonderful news! I was going to reach out to you earlier because I remember we had near identical timelines, and I was surprised when you didn't receive your interview notice.

Does anyone want to go over the documents they are bringing to the interview? I'm going to start, please add-on:

1. Passports + Certificate of Citizenship

2. Birth Certificates (original + copy)

3. Marriage Certificate

4. Proof of employment (pay stubs from the past 6 months)

5. Proof of new job offer (I was recently offered a job and my start date is actually the day of my interview, how nerve-wracking)

6. Taxes from most recent tax year

7. Joint bank account statements

8. Car insurance

9. Wedding photo album

10. Photo album of our relationship

11. Boarding passes + hotel trip summary from our honeymoon, contract

Thanks for the support, everything went well! The wait was long even though our appointment was at 8:15am. The IO was very calm and polite, and he asked only very basic questions about how we met and when we decided to get married. We had plenty of evidence and many pictures of our travels. The IO told us they do not approve on the spot but that they are "planning to approve" our case and we should hear back within 3-4 weeks.

Update: Just received a text and email notification from USCIS "Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production On August 22, 2017, we ordered your new card..... and will mail it to the address you gave us....."

THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE STILL WAITING!!!

Hey ndifonman,

Thanks for reminding me to update you guys. It went well. We got there 30 mins before appoint which was at 2.15pm and waited until about 3-3.15pm. Was not terribly busy. Went to the room and we were sworn in and biometrics done first. The officer then proceeded to ask my husband questions about when we met, how long we had been dating, who proposed to who etc. I was not asked any questions about the nature of our relationship. He then asked if there was anything we wanted to add to our file we gave him copies of extra documents for bills, insurance documents, lease agreements etc. He asked for pictures which we didn't have as we had packed everything for recently moved. And then we did the questions like ever committed murder etc. I asked for the stamp in the passport to be able to leave the country, he said he will only give that if it was an emergency but i should get my green card soon. all in all interview lasted about 15-20 mins which was way quicker total time than i anticipated. Thought i would be there all afternoon. I got updated that card was being mailed next day,  even though it said day of interview as day of approval.

If you have any other more questions, will happily provide more detail.

Good luck on thursday! Just be calm and will fly by :)

Guys update on my interview!:D

My interview was super fast. We got there around 6:30am and had to wait till 7am to enter the building (our interview was scheduled for 7:15am). After waiting for about 2 hours after checking in, the officer finally called us in. She swore us in and then started asking my husband (the petitioner) some basic questions, like where did you meet your wife, wedding date, my date of birth, if he has met my family, etc. After that she asked me of my husband full names, dob, what he does, if I meet his family, do we have children? Then she asked if we have any joint document we want to present. We gave her our car insurance, electricity bill and our bank account. She asked if the bank account was opened for the interview purpose and we said no 'cos we were running the account even before the interview. Finally, she asked me the basic security questions... have you committed any crime before, drugs and the rest and I answered all. Then she told me that she is approving me that I will get my card in the mail within the next week and she gave me a piece of paper about how to remove condition within 90 days before the green card expires. We thanked her and she escorted us out. I got the update before noon that my card is in production.
