Finally, got my interview notice. However not from USCIS from Senator Booker's office as i had put in a request months ago. They remembered me i guess.   August 30th

It took us 9 months to be called for the interview, We had no RFE .Newark seems to be a very friendly local office everybody was very nice !! Good luck to everyone !!!

Hello Fellow Newark 2016 October AOS filers!

So has any one received notification?letter for interview? I see some people are already getting interview date on the general October 2016 AOS filers group. Someone from Boston and New York alreay got interview dates!.

I hope Newark office start inviting us too for interview.:mellow:

Ms80 have you had your interview yet? Just wondering because I filed in October and hasn't heard back from uscis since my EAD in January.

Hello , Yes my interview was in March, I had applied in June 2016 it took 10months, so I think yours is soon ! Good luck !

Hey, so I filed in October and haven't heard anything. A friend of a friend applied 3 weeks before my husband and I, and they received their interview date a few days ago for August. The processing times seem to be correct, it's taking about 11 months for an interview for Newark filers. I think we should expect an interview notice next month, scheduled for September. :)

Hello everyone! Good news! 

 

"On July 19, 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number -. Your interview is on August 22, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by August 18, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

 

Also, not sure if this is just a coincidence but I logged into my uscis.gov online account yesterday to update my phone number and several hours later (so this morning) I received text notifications and an email that my case status has been updated!
