Hello!

Anyone from NJ area with local office in Newark, NJ?

Married my husband on September 18, 2016. He is on a B-2 visa.

Here is our timeline:

Adjustment of Status Case and Progress

09/18/2016: Married!

10/14/2016: AOS Application Package Sent to Chicago

10/16/2016: AOS Package Delivered

and so the waiting begins! :dancing:

Finally, got my interview notice. However not from USCIS from Senator Booker's office as i had put in a request months ago. They remembered me i guess.   August 30th

I am hoping that I will receive NOA by the weekend.

Yes, it is extremely long compared to the other NJ office and other offices in the country. Newark, NJ and New York City have about 11-13 months wait according to current processing times

That's quite unfortunate.

I haven't even been notified or scheduled !!!,  NOTHING lol , according the processing times Newark is one of the slowlest local office of the country, ??

No no I applied in the middle of may , received my EAD card 3 months after in August but  still in "Fingerprint fee was received" stage regarding the interview.
