Questions about IR-1 interview in NPL

Hi guys,

I'm going to have my interview in 7 days.
I've read on other posts about a fee to pay with bank wire transfer but i can't understand if that applies to my case as well.
I paid all the necessary fees online to the NVC:
I understand i have to pay the medical exams cash on hand. But i still don't know about the consulate. Has anybody been thru this already?

Also, i am 31 and my wife is 51. We have been married but never had a wedding because we want to have one when i can stay for good instead of the 3 months with the esta.
She has been previously been married once and has 4 kids from her previous marriages, even tho she is looking very young for her age i'm constantly afraid of being rejected because of our age difference.
What can i do to convince the CO. that our relationship is in real bonafide?

When you interview for the green card, I don't think age would make a difference. What matters is that your relationship is genuine.

They may question how you feel about never been able to experience fatherhood (I am assuming you don't have children already). At 51, your wife is almost certainly not going to be bearing your children. It is unusual in Europe for the woman to be so much older than the man but that doesn't mean they will deny based purely on age. They will take the bigger picture into consideration (such as children, what you have in common with someone so much older and the things you like to do together). Be prepared for them considering your situation to be unusual as it is not the 'cultural norm' in Europe. But I'm sure you're aware of that already and people in your social circle have probably asked similar questions of you.
