I know of 2 couples who had to do that. How long have you've been waiting for a call letter?

Its been since the 23rd of August , maybe i should wait till the middle of November before the expiry date?

I think it's not a bad idea. For instance we been waiting for the longest

Yes , i am thinking same. Best to hear from someone who gone through that process though

I doesn't hurt to try.. But have you emailed the embassy? During our K-1 process, their email response instructed us to use that as a call in letter.

Don't wait around for their letter in the mail to the beneficiary. By the way, my fiance (now husband), call in letter came in after the interview was over.

And by the way, the NVC letter can also be used .

I will hate for your case to expire before you get an interview because you didn't exhaust all options.

I did email them 2 weeks ago and we got no response, my fiancee sent a follow up 3day ago and we still awaiting a response . Do you think i should wait for a response within 2 weeks after the follow up email before i go with the print out ceac status?

If your fiance lives in Accra, then it won't hurt to go to the embassy with the ceac to check. I don't know anyone personally who has gone there with that. If you live outside Accra, I would say, keep checking your status. Pay particular attention to the status updated date. Whenever that date changes, then you know someone has touched your case (usually it means they have mailed the call in letter or you may have an email reply).

Give it 2 weeks from when email was sent. Then have your fiance go and check with ceac status.

Hopefully, you should have an email reply by then.
