Hello everyone,

Does anyone know about the process about making an appointment for medical examination?

I am expecting an interview anytime now. I couldn't reach the embassy by calling to ask, and they send automated answers about questions I didn't ask.

The djibouti embassy website says to travel three weeks before the appointment for the medical examination. But do I make an appointment through NVC or call the embassy as soon as I get an interview date or does my spouse have to do this once he arrives three weeks before?

My husband just went to his medical with his confirmation of the interview at the embassy, his confirmation of the completed visa, passport and shot records. No appointment he went a week before our interview

Oh okay. That's good. Congratulations. I am not sure why they are saying it's good to go three weeks ahead. I guess I'll see what we'll do. Traveling is difficult. I wanted to get ahead and be prepared.

Thank you. It could be different in your country it should say on the website for the medical if your having problems talking to someone by phone

You are welcome. For a moment I thought you meant your spouse was in Djibouti. It's fine. You are right. I'll keep calling and maybe people who been through it know. Thank you!

Hi daml20, my husband just recently arrived in Djibouti, and is getting his medical examination there as they were no longer conducting them in Yemen. His visa interview appointment is in November. You can just make an appointment at one of the medical facilities in Djibouti. As far as visa interview call the NVC, they should have one for you.

Hi Tink88,

Oh ok. Our case isn't completed yet. I am expecting that and an interview soon. It was under review. Thank you! I am glad to get some information. When the cases were at other countries, the websites said to call and make an appointment. But I was confused with Djibouti.
