Hi guys. My question is will a request for initial evidence on i485 (regarding i864 current income) reset the 90 days?

Some people say it won't and that it just stopes the clock and it continues once they receive it response. However, on USCIS website it says if its request for initial evidence then it resets the 90 days. Also I still haven't received biometrics notice. It was not sent out yet as my lawyer submitted g28 and they should get a copy as well. There is no way both of them got lost so I know that bio appointee letter was not yet mailed out. I also heard of people who received EAD before biometrics were done.
Adjust from VWP but have SSN from previous years on work visas.
Anybody know something for sure, or have experience on it.?
485, i130, i765 filed august 3

Notice Date August 17
Request For Initial Evidence September 12
Response Received October 3

Hi!

Don't panic! nobody gets EAD without biometrics, they won't never do that if they don't know who you are.

if you already have your Notice of action, you have the case numbers. go to mycase online and check what it's the status of your process. if you see that they already sent you bio appointment, call them and let them know that you didn't get it. and this is your attorney's job by the way!

Thank for the reply. Actually its not true. Many people receive EAD cards before biometrics appointments . On the card fingerprint is not available and signature waived. So it does happened to some people . My case status says response to RFE was received. I don't think case status will say bio letter sent out, but will see.
