Fastest way to get Emergency Visa to go see critically ill senior mother in ICU in USA (merged)

I'm pretty sure the husband cannot go to the interview with you unless he is also an applicant. :( Sorry, hadn't thought about the problem of intent. I wasn't trying to imply that your husband lie, I just thought it might be good for him to also have a visa in case he did change his mind and want to join you as a back up plan. That was what I meant by he isn't required to visit the US, as people have plans that change all the time.

I think if you get a B2 approved it won't be a problem for your kids to also get them. They are dependent on you after all. It says here on the Pakistan US visa site:

So they won't even allow him to go inside with me if he isn't applying for visa? How will I be able to show/prove that he is paying for my trip if he isn't allowed inside? Shall he write a letter saying that he will pay for my trip?

Also now I'm confused, if he won't be allowed to come along will the CO accept the asset, financial and deeds that are on his name alone only as my strong ties to Pakistan? I'm afraid not :/ so the only thing presentable is maybe the birth certificates of my kids and should I get their school verification letter also or not needed?

As far as I know, that's correct, if you husband isn't applying as well, he isn't even allowed to come inside the Embassy. He can wait outside, of course, but he will not be interviewed and will not get a chance to see or speak to the CO. :(

See this link: Who Can Come With You On Your Visa Appointment?

I honestly don't know about bringing extra documentation because in my experience with a B-2 visitor visa, the CO didn't even look at the extra documentation. The decision was made merely on the application and the interview alone.

Maybe in your cause it would be different and they would need to see your extra documentation. Hopefully someone with experience in your situation will comment on what exactly you should prepare.

I'm confused, your first thread said it was due to your mother falling ill whilst on vacation to see your sister, then your other thread said it was to visit your mother who is sick and you sister and parents live in America, and then another thread says you want to visit to attend your sisters wedding. Which is it?

With lots of family in the us and they know the wait is a long time for married daughters and sisters of us citizens they might very well suspect you of trying to circumvent the wait by using the visitor visa to move there, especially if other members of your family have already done so. Leaving kids and a husband behind doesn't mean much as people do this all the time, lots of parents on here move to the us first then send for their children later and I have seen it happen with spouses as well.

The wedding post was an interloper.

Most travel Insurers would be looking to gte her mother repatriated asap to minimise hospital costs in the US. Even an air ambulance would be much cheaper than an extended hospital stay.

Sorry if you are confused, the wedding post was not mine however my sister lives in U.S. And she invited my mom over to live with her, hold on maybe I am saying it wrong. She filed for my moms I130 based on which she went to US and unfortunately soon after she arrived to US in 2 months she got sick and is currently admitted in icu with a respiratory failure and doctors say it doesn't look good.

Anyhow we have no intention of migration, my sister never applied for our family and I just want to get advise on fasted route to obtain so I can visit my mom before the situations gets worse.

Hopefully I made it clear now :)

Ah got it, you are right about the insurer wanting to have the mother moved as soon as possible due to US hospital costs.

If the mother lives in the us instead however that's another thing against giving the visa as then most of the op's blood relatives are in the us apart from her children who are easy to send for later.

You mean air ambulance my mother back to Pakistan?? But as per my sister they added her to their family's existing medical insurance plan right when she arrived so she isn't a public burden and yes even though my mother eventually wants to be buried in her home country next to our dad but that's a discussion for later

How? Do insurance policies allow parents to be added and if they got her own insurance they would have had to have claimed that she is at least seeking to adjust her status to resident from the tourist visa and once more the embassy will look at you then wanting to join and suspect you are going to try to do the same.

I am sorry for your mothers situation but we are trying to make you aware of the pitfalls here, could you get the visa maybe but there is no way to garuntee it and there are factors against you getting it that you should be aware of. It is awful to be so far away from family when they or you are ill, everyone here has or is likely to face that at some point during their visa journey.

If I were in your situation, I would apply for the visitors visa for yourself and the youngest child only. Put your husband as the one paying for your trip. Bring to your interview the medical information of your mother, your marriage certificate and children's birth certificates, and the documents proving your husband owns your home and his business, and that he has enough savings to pay for the airfare.

Best of luck to you!

My mother went to USA to visit my older sister who is a U.S. Citizen and resides there

Seems this is wrong, can only comment on the basis of correct information.

What you mean? Are you moving my thread elsewhere??

I don't know why my post is still confusing, I clarified it.

No they mean that they are moving the post that someone else made about going to her sisters wedding, that was what was confusing people.

Thank you for the clarification that your mother immigrated through a petition. You will still have to get over the presumption of immigration intent compounded by having your mother and sister living in the US.

You said you mother was visiting the US then you said she had immigrated.

You can only apply and find out, application asks about family living in the US so no not confuse that aspect.

Let us know how it goes.
