hi, I would really appreciate if any fellow PAKISTANIS could share their spouse visa time lines with me? because for some reason NVC is taking alot of time with my case this is the 7th week, theyv asked us to call in 2 days time and that they had a back log and everything. what the agents were unable to view in 6 weeks i wonder how they plan on doing that in 2 days? Also coming monday my husband is gonna file for supervisor's review which will add another 6 weeks. my entire timeline is being disturbed here as I have my brother's wedding in december for which my husband has to come. we were hoping my visa would be here since we applied in february and that he would be able to take me along with him. if NVC continues with this speed I wonder if I'll make it till next december. also this is emotionally very stressful. If someone could helppout with some useful tip? as to how to get about this process quickly? and is the case with everyone from Islamabad, Pakistan?

It's not just Pakistan, I'm afraid.

We also started in February (I'm from the UK) and we are stuck at the NVC. Currently we are 6 weeks and 2 days since first scan date. I can't even reach them on the phone. There are various threads about this - including people with August scan dates who are still waiting. Please join us and share your experience.

Why are you asking for supervisor review already and adding God knows how much extra time to your case? Wait the expected 45 days and then add a few days. If you still haven't heard anything then maybe ask for supervisor review. Be careful though. In Spring 2015, supervisor review got many cases stuck at NVC for ridiculous amounts of time. Our case was at NVC for about eight months, five of those months, the case was under supervisor review... :(

Thank you so much everyone for such a warm response but we'r already in the 7th week of NVC which is why we'r thinking about super visor's review. We'v been calling them every week but to no avail. If you guys could could just tell me one more thing as to where do I find my scan date? Like i submitted my DS-260 on 17th august and the documents were recieved by them on 29th august. But i still dont know my scan date?

Mine took 13 months at NVC

Mine took 13 months at NVC

Looking at your timeline you didn't pay the fees until it had been at NVC for 8 months. And then waited a few months to send your packages. Once you sent your packages your case was complete in less than a month. The OP is talking about waiting for case complete from sending packages - for that part she has already been waiting longer than you did.

My application has been updated to 3 N/As as of today. I will call them on monday to confirm the case status and the interview date. It took NVC a good about 51 days with my case. I hope everyone hears good news soon if God wills! Best of luck!
