Merry Christmas!!

The cat enjoyed his stocking. He's currently passed out.

The dog had a great time unwrapping and playing with new presents and is also currently sleeping.

Hubs liked his gifts and stocking stuffers but is not yet sleeping.

Cheap Chinese garbage that didn't work & battery-compartment screw stripped immediately, grrr man.

Cable to remote accidentally got cut while de-boxing the Incredible Hulk-mobile, uh-oh man.

Little Mini-B. got tears in his eyes, sad wee man.

Mrs. T-B. distracted him with other goodies while we ran to CVS for electrical tape*, fortunately there man.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
